I saw printers as a segment that Dell still did "right". It's been quite a learning curve, but worth it. My main regret is how long it took me to go Apple. So I finally kissed Dell PC's and Windows goodbye, and have bought 4 Apple computers since. Abandonment was an official hardline policy, as punishment for my trusting patience. I bought most of my computers from Dell, until Dell abandoned me with a brand new 17" laptop running Vista, refusing to support the promised downgrade to the stable OS because after dozens of hours patiently working with tech support on the phone, their hardware/software problems took me 2 days past the 90 day cutoff window for OS downgrades on a new PC.
